Contest Official Rules

Eligibility: The contest is open to all BL Lighting Reps.
Contest Period: November 1, 2019 to September 1, 2020 for projects completed in the last three years.

Submissions: Photographic images of applications and environments illuminated by BL Lighting products

By entering, the parties agree to the official rules of the contest. All submissions will be property of BL Lighting and will be featured in advertising, social media, promotion and product literature where appropriate.

DARING, DYNAMIC, WINDOW DRESSING

Working with the design team, Arkade Display + Design, the vision was to delight and surprise passersby with a bold, enlivened visual windowscape, awash with softly glowing illuminated electric creatures. BL fiberOPTIC MC fit the bill perfectly; all electricity is safely contained to the remotely located BL fiberSOURCE LV1 LED light source, delivering dazzle through the light-tipped micro fiber strands, a whimsical jellyfish like luminescence swirling through their ethereal bodies and culminating in trailing tentacles of sparkle and shine.

Jellyfish sway and dance, suspended at varying heights throughout the display. Careful consideration of light, angles, and translucent airy tentacles requires a certain level of dynamism and intentional inventiveness. An exhibition of simulated suspended seascape jelly fish habitat engages clientele and showcases the product at its best with brilliantly lit fixtures.

Creative placement of BL flexFORM D Series LED Strip Light further camouflaged the hardware within the custom fixture. The array of sea creatures splashes into view in a spectacle that perfectly renders the exclusive, yet unpretentious feel of the Moncler brand. The presence of the eye-catching retail display on this prominent corner invites curiosity and conversation, and stands out to window shoppers and anyone happening to pass by.

 

ENERGETIC LUMINANCE & OTHERWORLDLY AMBIENCE

Intriguing and pleasing, the soft glow creates movement and the jellyfish appear to sway and dance, suspended in the sea scape surroundings. The result is an absolutely ephemeral wonder wall. The artistic endeavor enhances the facade with a brilliant bloom of evanescent jellyfish springing to life, floating through the display with swags of trailing illuminated tentacles.

Enhancing not only the branding as well as enticing shoppers to walk in and engage, certainly the BL fiberOPTIC package brought a new dimension of fascination to the building facade and surrounding street scape; delivering the powerful impact and efficacy of LED light sources, the end result is a manifestation of pure expression in an enterprising, energetic, and bold store front display.
